Over the past couple of years, since I had redesigned the website, I've had a number of people tell me that they found the design of the navigation buttons for the pages to be "disoriented", "annoying", "confusing" and numerous other things, since the majority of webcomics put the buttons the opposite way than I do.

Now typically, comics that read right to left, like Star of Destiny, alternate the buttons to try and be more eye catching. Normally your eyes are in the bottom left corner last, so it makes sense to have the button for the next page be there.

Well, to (hopefully) prove a point and to run as a general test, I've changed the buttons to work the "normal" way. The buttons for the latest page and the next page will be found on the right while the buttons for the first page and going back a page will be on the left.

I'd like to ask those folks that find how I used to do it annoying, please give it a try then let me know if you think it's an improvement. You can let me know through Twitter or deviantART.

I should've posted this sooner, but I had hoped something would happen so I didn't need to explain this.

Anyway, the update for December 31st, 2011 and January 3rd, 2012 won't be here. Why? Well, after having a talk with Cathy we decided to break for those two days. I had honestly hoped we'd have guest comics to run today, but given how late it all came up, that didn't happen. There may be one for Tuesday, we'll have to see. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend and have a safe and happy New Year's!
